The Foragers
ENGAGEMENTS BEYOND THE HUMAN (2025-2027)
How can we rethink our connection to the living world in times of ecological urgency and societal uncertainty? As cities grow denser and digital life accelerates, The Foragers: Engagements Beyond the Human invites you to rediscover your relationship with our environment — not just in remote wilderness, but in the overlooked spaces of everyday urban life. This interdisciplinary art-science project brings together artists, researchers and enthusiasts who reclaim the ancient practice of foraging as a bold, imaginative and future-facing method.
I was commissioned to design the visual identity of the festival including posters, social media campaign, banners and flyers for various events, workshops, film screenings and exhibition.
The series is co-curated by artistic researcher Gosie Vervloessem, historian Benoît Henriet (VUB) and VUB Crosstalks and supported by ERC FORAGENCY and the Chair Casterman-Hamers: History and Philosophy of Sciences.
GRAPHIC DESIGN: Joud Toamah
3D ANIMATION: Mathias Mu
