The Butterfly Effect TEDinArabic Branding (2023)
Our visual identity for TEDinArabic 2023 draws inspiration from the profound words of Mahmoud Darwish: “The butterfly effect cannot be seen. The butterfly effect endures.” The subtlety of this concept carries immense power, creating a poetic resonance that shapes and influences its surroundings.
Visual Identity:
We created a visual language that captures the dynamic essence of the butterfly effect, translating it into a compelling and fluid identity. Our custom lettering balances boldness with elegance, mirroring the delicate yet grounded nature of the butterfly’s impact.
Color Palette and Patterns:
We selected colors inspired by Qatar’s butterflies—bright yellow reminiscent of Colias croceus and calm blue echoing Junonia species.
