My design work included the wall introduction, custom lettering, exhibition captions and a visual tunnel collage that guides visitors through the space and echoes the studios’ layered aesthetics of backdrops, props and digital montage. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Sint Lucas School of Arts Antwerp (KdG), University of Antwerp, and Antwerp Research Institute for the Arts (ARIA). A Song of Dignity? (2024) ‘FEU2FORÊT. A song of dignity?’ is a collective publication that seeks to pass on the stories told around the fire of the FEU2FORÊT exhibition, which took place in Forest in November 2021. The publication weaves together various images, drawings, video stills, performances, and installations presented during the exhibition, and gathers reflections by, among others, Maxime Jean-Baptiste, Marielle Pelissero, Olivier Marboeuf, and Sofia Dati. Presented in Arabic, French and Dutch, the publication bears witness to the war on Gaza while foregrounding poetry as an act of resistance, dignity and solidarity. The book was developed in the context of a public poetry evening at Espace Magh and continues to circulate both online and through independent bookstores in Brussels. Reworlding takes the notion of world-building beyond purposes such as art or entertainment and instead deploys it as a radical tool to instigate change in the world. From alien experiments to fortune-tellers to telepathic conspiracies, the stories compiled in the book represent visions of Palestine and beyond, reworlding both the local and the interplanetary. The contributions in the collection vary in form, length and style and join a rapidly growing, if comparatively small, niche of Palestinian science fiction.
